midwinter : (07 October 2018 - 03:33 PM) I have my doubts that he'd work on another Fatal Frame game, it sounds like FF4 was chaos and he doesn't really do horror anyway
Emi : (07 October 2018 - 03:47 PM) *nods* Yeah
Emi : (07 October 2018 - 03:55 PM) ugh... Okay. Well, I got the keycaptcha in, but it isn't working.

Yashuu : (07 October 2018 - 08:24 PM) a mess but still >>>>
Emi : (07 October 2018 - 09:29 PM) True. There were parts of 4 that I thought were really cool.
Cursed Lemon : (08 October 2018 - 01:29 AM) FF4 was awesome in terms of lore and atmosphere.
ItsukiFace : (08 October 2018 - 07:50 PM) Something ultra wicked, this way comes. 💕
γƒŠγ‚¬γ‚―γƒ© : (09 October 2018 - 06:08 AM) I like the atmosphere of 4
Butterflychaser : (09 October 2018 - 02:16 PM) 4 really was the bees knees. Managed to stray from several elements of the original series whilst retaining the overall feel
Emi : (09 October 2018 - 04:05 PM) agreed. I really loved the playable character twist too.
Chou : (09 October 2018 - 04:13 PM) 4 has honestly taken the top spot from 2 for me, as my #1 fave
Chou : (09 October 2018 - 04:14 PM) Also i like that the bot account is Baymax hahaha
ItsukiFace : (11 October 2018 - 02:53 AM) Hi, Chou. It's nice to see you here. ☺️

Am I the only one who is scared to return to the Himuro Mansion part of the Mannor of Sleep? I made a topic about this in the old forum so why not bring it back for old time's sake.

During Miku's first chapter ("Evil Dream") I was thrilled to get to play as Miku again on my first run then I remembered something odd about my surroundings. When the music started I was all like "No, F this s***! Not again! Anything but this!". I was losing my mind and thought how cruel it was to send someone (me) who just survived Himuro weeks back to Himuro once again. Memories of my first run of the first game call back into memory like "Oh.. this room... I remember Himuro-sama coming after me with his sword and his laugh..."

So yeah... am I the only one who freaked out during the first run of this game?

I never beat Fatal Frame 1 so maybe that's why I wasn't too worried about it when I got there. But I did wander into that area with Rei and the rope woman came out and I said "NO UGH" and ran away instead of trying to fight her. She kicked my butt when I fought her earlier with Miku so I decided to not even bother becuase it was a pain in the butt.

I do feel bad for Miku though, thinking she was finished with all of that and only to be thrown into it once again. Kind of like those Scream movies where it keeps happening to Sydney over and over again. YOU ARE NEVER SAFEEEEEE!!!

I got this game today and I find it absolutely brilliant. So much better than the first (I enjoyed it just frustratingly difficult)

Yeah I agree, I was more freaked out by the Kusabi rooms than the ones that involved Kirie....
In my opinion the Kusabi is scarier lol.
