I really liked FF3's ending, since it actually is one of the happier canon endings in the whole series. It gives resolve, you see pretty things happen, and overall it's a good ending to the cray cray that was the rest of the game

4's Choushirou "reveal". That was a hell of a moment. The entire chase of Haibara to the rooftop was really nice.

Kyouka hadn't dared collect her treasures from the locked drawer when she had been told to leave her room: she was still afraid of what would happen if her mother saw them.

After that, the manor had been sealed, and even now Kyouka was kept confined. All she had been able to take was the key, and a key to a door you couldn't get to was worse than useless.

She kept the key anyway. Perhaps she'd get the chance to return to her old room someday, find her photograph, continue her long wait.

Someday, perhaps, after she was dead.

I went for the Echo Stone Earring sidequest in FF3. Mostly I love that stage of the game when you get to explore the secret places and storylines, and this sidequest is a great example of that.

Finding the stones in PZ3 and put them together in the right order to get the Handmaiden's Song.

I love this part of the game. It has a somewhat mystic atmosphere, when you hear the song the first time. Then you try to order it correctly and it is such a fulfilling conclusion to the quest, when you finally got to hear the song. As you perhaps guessed - I love the Handmaiden's Song  :)

4's last chapter.  Lord, the build up is amazing.  Retracing Sakuya's steps as she makes her way into the depths of the island, her voice coming out the wiimote in tiny little laughs, to find Souya, who's just... ready for the end, has to be one of the most memorable moments for me.  It's bleak as hell, and reinforces her as one of my favorite antagonists.  Ugh, and the Light House ascent with the music was just lovely.  <3

Hmmm, maybe because I have played through the games I own so many times that I can barely think of a part that makes me eager to play. But in FF3 I do like the earring sidequest, partly because I wanna save Kei, and partly because it adds such a nice touch to the story; Reika felt pity on him and spared him instead, the earring managing to move something inside her that had otherwise been merciless towards her victims. The sidequest itself is nice too, adding more to Kyouka's feelings and how both mad and longing she is. Also I kinda ship Kei and Kyouka ooops I'm weird like that

I also like chapters in FF3 that focus on the Handmaidens, I love them as a twisted kid group and even though they can be pain in the butt sometimes, I always enjoyed going through the doll altars. For FF4 I also have to mention the climbing all up to the lighthouse, even if all the running up and down for saving was frustrating; the music and atmosphere set the setting for the final battle so nicely!
