Mine would be at the very end of the ps2 nightmare ending when you have to get the final shot on Sae while she's hovering over the Hellish Abyss. Sae/Mayu say something along the lines of this (this is by memory so I'm not sure if it's completely right or not.): "No matter how strong we were, I knew we were two seperate people. We were born together, but we have to live apart, and die apart. Forget about me, Mio, save yourself.(?)" That bought tears to my eyes.

Not a moment per se, but Miyako's spirit desperately asking "why?" and never getting an answer is quite upsetting.  Masumi/Miyako in general, really.  :(

The saddest moment for me was Saes hanging. The whole time you can hear her saying 'I know you'll come for me' and just knowing she died alone was so sad

The crimson butterfly ending, of course. An awful mixture of depression, confusion and anger.

The whole game is depressing... which makes it awesome! My number one most depressing is whenever I have to hurt Chitose... I love her so much! And all the endings, except the ending the Promise ending. That was actually somewhat happy but I still cried. I'm so emotional. Also whenever Mayu is being Mayu. She's just, so sad. Is it mean that I was extremely mad whenever she came back? On my first play-through, I was always like "Damn it, Mayu again. Why didn't she just break her neck instead of her leg?" Also when Itsuki killed himself, I was balling like a baby. Which makes it extremely depressing... Good thing Sae was there to dry my tears.

Love,

Jill <3

Takashi that's weird of you. XD

Mine would be pretty much all the aforementioned above.  Especially the Crimson Butterfly ending, and the new Shadow Festival Ending.  Both had me balling when I first saw them.

yeah I'm going with this too,but also when the part were Sae sees Itsuki hanging and the fact that you could no longer see Itsuki at his window to help you made me sad :c I liked Itsuki.

I found it depressing how mourners dump mayu's body into the abyss like a bag of garbage.

This was my first PZ game ever, so I couldnt even think it would have so sad ending xP. I was shocked when Mio killed Mayu, 'cause I really thought all time during the game, that they would live happily ever after and escape together 8D How wrong I was.. I cried so much when I realized truth xD It made me soooooo sad. But oh well, PZ 2 is my favorite game, maybe just for that: It stabbed so hard on my emotional side xD

The saddest part for me was when you find out that Itsuki hung himself because of his guilt. Also I really hate the ending where Mayu gets sacrificed after all that work you do trying to save her, and it sucks that it was the canonical ending of the game. :( I personally prefer the ending where she and Mio escape even though Mio looses her eyesight. At least Mayu lives and she has her sister back. :)

Maybe you will think I'm stupid, but for me,

the most saddest moment is when you're fighting the Woman in box and then your hear her baby crying ;_;

Spoiler

Saddest moments:

Phew there are a few to name...Miyako and Masumi's story (Really I feel so sorry for them. The moment you find the bloody ring and realise that Masumi was going to marry Miyako, but never got the chance to ask her >.<), Chitose's fate, learning that Itsuki was dead all the time (His line about Mutsuki was so sad), for some very odd reasons Sunken Woman's photos and (of course) the Crimson Butterfly ending (reading the lyrics of the ending song while watching the awesome credits (I'm talking about the Xbox version)...so many emotions dwelling up my throat  :( ).
