Strobe lighting and the scent of musty old books rises from within the fog...
Hex : (18 August 2017 - 03:32 PM) Something showing Miyuki and Mafuyu together might have been interesting as well. You know that "incident" he says that taught him about the camera?  I like to think she showed him how to use it to protect himself and Miku if they needed it.
midwinter : (18 August 2017 - 03:36 PM) Ooh, yes
Hex : (18 August 2017 - 03:37 PM) Oh, btw, had you heard of this fan film?  https://m.youtube.co...h?v=dlEddiFydiE
midwinter : (18 August 2017 - 03:38 PM) I had not!
Hex : (18 August 2017 - 03:39 PM) Oops, I thought that was the proper trailer D:

midwinter : (18 August 2017 - 03:44 PM) that looks cool
midwinter : (18 August 2017 - 03:44 PM) I'm really impressed by the ghost effects!
Hex : (18 August 2017 - 03:46 PM) I'm surprised it didn't generate more attention, it looks pretty decent
Hex : (18 August 2017 - 03:48 PM)
Hex : (18 August 2017 - 03:49 PM) Hisoka/Kureha.  Yes, no?
midwinter : (18 August 2017 - 03:56 PM) Would definitely read
midwinter : (18 August 2017 - 04:07 PM) I know it's only August but I'm feeling very impatient for the Christmas exchange
midwinter : (18 August 2017 - 04:07 PM) I think it's because people are starting to talk about Halloween and Yuletide, so I'm getting into that end-of-the-year frame of mind
Hex : (19 August 2017 - 02:55 PM) I could set this year's up soon if you'd like?  I was thinking of starting earlier as well.   :icon_tengai:
midwinter : (19 August 2017 - 09:37 PM) Oh man, my heart is saying yes but my head is saying, how much earlier are we talking? Cause I think even starting in November we had people sign up and then forget it was a thing
Rezz : (19 August 2017 - 10:24 PM) (I'm game for whenever)
Eisenalex : (19 August 2017 - 11:43 PM) Oh, christmas exchange. I'd like to participate, too.
Eisenalex : (19 August 2017 - 11:48 PM) and since I now "lost" my job, I'll have more time to actually work on stuff, lol.
Eisenalex : (20 August 2017 - 01:03 AM) Is anything wrong with the forum? Because my browser keeps giving me warnings about it for quite a while now.

Bloodlines often pass down certain traits and abilities in the series.  Some have strong sixth senses, others mind-reading, knowledge, a curse or duty.  It might not be all grim if you had the chance to access that family's history though...

Which family would you be a part of, if just for a day?

I'd have to go with the Mikomori maidens because I'm just too in love with Glancing and Shadow Reading to choose anything else.  Imagine how useful they could be!  On the other hand, descending from the Munakatas or Shadow Priestesses could lead to some interesting discoveries.

I guess the real question is, who'd risk becoming an Asou to get all his secrets?

*points at member title* Definitely the Tsukimori Shrine Maidens! I think it would be really cool to be able to hear what people's souls sound like. Not as invasive as outright mind-reading, but it would still give a lot of insight. Though I admit I'd be tempted by the Mikomoris, just because of the cool outfits. I want an outfit that cool in my family history. Kurosawa-Hinasakis seem to be even more cursed than Asous, so not them, but Mikomori-Kurosawas apparently do okay.

The Kirishima's have Choushiro so that's a positive.

Honestly most families in this series have most of the known members end up dead before their time so I don't know who would be the best choice.  Technically the Amakura family has the least amount of tragedies in the main family that we know about.
