Depending whether you have the Limited Edition bundle, you may or may not have known that the photos that came with it have writing on the back in Japanese. I've tried to transcribe/translate as best I can, but my Japanese still isn't great, so take these with a pinch of salt. If you see any mistakes, please let me know!
ETA: My Japanese teacher was kind enough to help me with the kanji I couldn't figure out in the first photo, so that's complete now. \o/
...or so it seems.
This may be a photo of the circumstances of the boxing ceremony.
The box in the centre may be what's called a pivot-hinged box.
The box's characteristic pattern...
The caskets are a tradition handed down at Mount Hikami,
but it's likely that Mount Hikami is not the location of this photo.
Although you can't see clearly, the girl's clothes are fastened differently.
The shrine maidens of Mount Hikami wear their clothes the dead way, right over left.
This girl wears hers left over right.
Once again I'll need to check regional documents for more details.
Why is this photo... Katashiro Shrine...
？ of Mount Hikami. Taken at Ayukawa.
Fukase Aki was placed in a box.
Died aged four.
(Just mentioning, the closest I can find to the unidentified kanji here is 魔, which means demon or evil spirit, but it doesn't look quite right to me, and doesn't make much sense in context either.)
大 きな 山鳴
the mountain will let out a mighty roar
and everything will overflow
It will overflow
and everyone will end together.
(This is nearly identical to the middle of Haruka's Drenched Note.)
Will we be able to meet again?
