Strobe lighting and the scent of musty old books rises from within the fog...
GregZerO : (13 February 2018 - 03:35 PM) ^The only reason why I accept these motives is because he was an asshole in his whole life,I can easily imagine getting so much money and success with bad ways,he loved R. ofcourse but that didnt change that fcat that he could be a bad person in general reacting wrong/bad again in a more personal/family related problem
GregZerO : (13 February 2018 - 03:36 PM) (i mean i can imagine him being an asshole in his life in general, its not confirmed anywhere)

GregZerO : (10 March 2018 - 10:10 PM) Remember when FF used to have endings like that in FF2 & 3?Aghh  LiS is one of the the only games that reached (almost?) the same emotional level that FF2/3 endings have done to me
GregZerO : (10 March 2018 - 10:10 PM) messed up grammar for no reason but u get the point

Butterflychaser : (12 April 2018 - 11:53 PM) I agree- I much prefer the pre 4 set out of the games, though it's probably nostalgia in my personal case
Butterflychaser : (12 April 2018 - 11:53 PM) Oh well, I'm just glad the series is still alive and this forum is too...kinda. It's nice coming here from time to time
PikaLink91 : (13 April 2018 - 07:27 AM) I had honestly hoped for a bit more activity, oh well, guess I am just late to the party...
Hex : (19 April 2018 - 08:04 PM) Will anyone be replaying 4 for its 10th anniversary in July?   :icon_ruka:
PikaLink91 : (19 April 2018 - 09:21 PM) I was actually thinking about replaying it tonight. Is my favorite afterall.
midwinter : (19 April 2018 - 09:54 PM) I'll definitely be doing that at some point - I still need to get proper quality costume images for the wiki

So what are your thoughts about this little epilogue? Out of all the games this one kept my attention going until the end and sticks out compared to the other epilogues in the other games. A nice way to close a game. Very nice CGI work I should add.

I think I read in the ingame summary of the last chapter, that the pond she sees is a vision of where her father now is: The After Life.

That's kind of a really happy ending really :)

Also, I love this theme. When I listen it I imagine how hard it must have been for the composer to come up with it.

I don't understand why is she playing this song.Is it a random song or something? It doesn't look like Tsukimori Song. This scene while it is nice,it could have been better(Probably because the whole FFIV ending could have been better). It is a nice way to end the game though i agree.

It is the Tsukimori Song, just a different arrangement with happier-sounding chords.

I think it's a great ending scene. The fact that you're trying to re-learn the Tsukimori song the entire game then perfect it by the end, then showing Ruka play it flawlessly in that scene is just so wonderful to me :')

It really wraps up the game nicely

^ This should clear everything up about the song.
Of course a song would sound like crap when you're trying to learn it the first time and when you finally learned it, it sounds perfect.

I think it's a very poetic ending.  I love how everything looks in it and I love how Ruka can now play the Tsukimori song fully but is also able to let go of the past now that she remembers it by being able to play it in a happy way.
