GregZerO : (13 February 2018 - 03:35 PM) ^The only reason why I accept these motives is because he was an asshole in his whole life,I can easily imagine getting so much money and success with bad ways,he loved R. ofcourse but that didnt change that fcat that he could be a bad person in general reacting wrong/bad again in a more personal/family related problem

Hey guys, found this forum. Love the games. I've been wanting to try to cosplay Kirie for a while and think I might try this year. I was curious what kind of Kimono she had. I want to say it looks like a furisode, but I really can't be too sure. Is anyone more knowledgable on this topic? I would love to get more input as I want to look as authentic as possible. Thank you.

Young kirie or old kirie?
Young kirie definitely wears a furisode kimono, but older kirie.. Well if it weren't for the long sleeves (signifying being unmarried / not an adult) I would say an iro-muji. So I guess our best bet might be a shirokakeshita. It's the white wedding ceremony kimono. Furisodes are normally very decorative with long sleeves and kirie's is devoid of pattern (as is the other rope shrine maiden's kimono)

It could also simply be a komon kimono just white and no patterns. Kirie's story does take place in the Edo period so I would suggest looking into Japanese fashion from there.

I want one just for a trophy for beating the game and a spooky prop for a theme bedroom.
