Strobe lighting and the scent of musty old books rises from within the fog...
GregZerO : (13 February 2018 - 12:34 AM) Just finished Before the storm and I loved the third episode,I think its my favorite from the prequel.Got to say though that the final choice wasn't as hard as in the original, still memorable and made you think about life but guess i wanted to cry again
Hex : (13 February 2018 - 10:15 AM) Aw, glad you enjoyed it.  The more I think about it, it's probably my least favourite and was quite disappointing, but it had some good moments.
Hex : (13 February 2018 - 10:18 AM) I was the opposite, I didn't hesitate at the end of S1, but needed around 15 minutes for BTS's last choice.

GregZerO : (13 February 2018 - 03:36 PM) (i mean i can imagine him being an asshole in his life in general, its not confirmed anywhere)

So, I never did really figure out the pupose of the fishtank room in regards to how that would work in a traditional Japanese home. Did the Japanese actually have attached rooms or sheds that housed fisheries? At least, I assume that's what a "Fishtank room" is, a kind of hatchery/fishery type place. It just seems kind of...odd. I've never come across drawings or descriptions of such buildings/rooms when reading about Japanese architechture. I guess I'm just wondering if rooms like this really would have existed or if it's main function was for the dripping blood/ghost scare. Any info on this would be awesome.

I don't know how "historically accurate" it is, but it's basically just a kind of... well, giant fishtank, where you would store living fish in water, presumably to stop them spoiling before you get around to eating them, kind of like the giant water-filled tanks they have on fishing boats. But in a house. I guess it's possible, since they live up in the mountains in a kind of remote area, and they probably can't just go fishing whenever they like, and the mountains don't seem terribly friendly to farming, especially with the snowy winters... And it also makes a great place to have dripping water and echoes and all that great stuff.
