Eisenalex : (13 September 2017 - 08:54 AM) Same for me. At least KT once stated that they have a little something in the works for the Switch and I doubt it'll only be FE: Warriors.
Eisenalex : (13 September 2017 - 10:57 PM) Now that was kinda disappointing. Didn't expect Doom and Wolfenstein. As expected, no FF news, unfortunately. I'm surprised that we didn't get a Smash 4 port announced or any news on Travis Strikes Back.

It was about to get lost in the livestream topic, so let's give it its own thread! The first chapter of the manga is up here on Mangabox in Japanese, and here in English (thanks to Teen Bulma for the link!). Here's its page on the wiki.

Thoughts? I've no idea what's happening, but I like the art style. It's clean and pretty and not confusing.

I notice higanbana and crows popping up, which makes me wonder if it's going to be connected to the game in some way.

Previous chapters.

I'm under the impression recent media have a very heavy water theme. When they were talking about the American film you can see a ripple on the slot they had for it even though the plot of the American film has not been released or worked on but its something to think of or just a theme in general in Japan for the series.

Game - rain
Film - drownings
Manga - bad childhood memory that involves a pool
Novel - since the film is suppose to be based on this drownings(?)

As for the art, I love it. I wish there was more. Are the chapters being released weekly or monthly?

Ah thank you. Man I love references to the Loch Ness monster the world is obsessed hehe. It's certainly interesting, I thought it was pretty good. That guy is pretty douchey though "hey look at this photo of your dead friend you remember that don't you ? How she died ?" I wonder what part he plays in all this

Not yet, I've been searching but I haven't been able to find a release schedule mentioned. If I find out anything I'll post it ASAP.

So far I'm really enjoying it.  The artwork is really nice, the pacing so far is good, and the main two girls are cool (Seeing a Japanese Horror story mention The Loch Ness Monster makes me instantly like that character), and the mystery is starting nicely.  The only thing I don't like is that male character.  He's really jerkish and his smug attitude rubs me the wrong way.

Episode 2 is up!

Ooh, it looks like Beniko has some secrets of her own. I wasn't expecting that; I thought they were setting her up to be the normal sidekick.

Manga author wanted to show off his research about spirit photography techniques. :P

Oh my god, has this teacher ever watched a horror movie in his life? "Abandoned building? Site of ghost photos? Why, LET'S TAKE AN OVERNIGHT TRIP! :D :D :D " *facepalm*

Camera Obscura~ I'm getting legitimately interested in Sara's backstory now.

Same! I was expecting to be all "lol oh well I guess I'll read it because it's Fatal Frame," but it's way better than I would have expected. I've seen genuinely popular series get manga adaptations that were much worse, not to mention ugly, so I think we lucked out with this.

the chapters feel a little short. But other wise I'm loving the storyline and can't wait to see what happens next ^o^

At first I was surprised to see someone in this series break down the oddities in photographs so straight forwardly (pleasantly though!), but then he asked them to organize a trip that's likely to be the end of them, so... back to the FF norm it is.   :P

I'm quite enjoying it, too.  It seems like there's more to everything than what meets the eye.

I don't like the story much till now, just looks and sounds too manga-ish,and I don't know why,but I'm used to the dark mooded Fatal Frame.Hopefully it will become more interesting later, but I can't cope with the "kawaii" talking and way of acting. It's not Fatal Frame to me.Still reading it because it's Fatal Frame, and maybe the story is a bit slow because the chapters are so short.

This is the first attempt of making a manga version of the series. In the games we never really got a casual human interaction among characters besides Madoka and Misaki in the first 2 minutes of the game then poof! gone (can you really call that casual?).
